About Tonbridge Town Sailing Club

Club history

The club was formed in 1972, to promote dinghy sailing at Haysden, a picturesque man made lake beside the river Medway upstream of the town of Tonbridge in Kent, England.

From its modest beginning with no more than a caravan as a clubhouse it has grown into a very active and friendly family club.

The water area was doubled when a flood barrier was built and the club premises have been steadily improved over the years.
