Each year the friendly and enthusiastic team of RYA trained instructors at Tonbridge Town Sailing Club run training courses for Juniors, RYA Stage 1&2 and for Adults, RYA level 1&2. These training courses will enable you to learn to sail at Haysden Water and give you the skills to develop your sailing further.

 

The training sessions are held on Saturdays from 09.30 to 17.00 with breaks for refreshment and lunch. The courses will be run over four Saturdays with a break after the first two weekends, before resuming for the final two Saturdays.

 

You will need to complete all the available dates to gain your RYA qualifications.

 

For 2026 the RYA Junior Stage 1&2 and RYA Adult level 1 & 2 are scheduled for the first phase on the 8th & 16th May and the second phase on the 6th & 13th June.Those attending the RYA Adult level 1 & 2 course will be invited to attend on a Friday evening 19.00 to 21.00 for onshore theory and practical training . These evening classes will be held at the club house on Friday 7th & 15th May and Friday 5th & 12th of June.
